Department Introduction :
The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, IES College of Technology was started in the year 2007, with the goal to impart technical education in the field of Electrical Engineering to deserving young mind of the country at Under - Graduates level. College offers one Under – Graduate programme (B.E.), one Post – Graduate programme (M.Tech. in Power System) to the students.
The infrastructure and lab facilities are upgraded from time to time and provide adequate opportunities for students and faculties to learn and innovate. The Department comprises qualified technically sound faculty members who are involved in teaching & research works. The faculties have published research papers in various national Journals and presented in Conferences.

Electrical and Electronics Engineering department is dedicated to the cause of disseminating quality education, to develop students in contemporary technologies at par with latest standards. Ensure over all personality evolution by way of inculcation with highest level of values and discipline, making them technologically perfect, ethically strong and accomplished graduates ready to contribute for the betterment of the society and nation.

Graduate will be able to:
PEO-1 : Use their acquired knowledge of Electrical & Electronics Engineering as a foundation for on-going learning, and obtain success in their professional careers and/or in pursuit of graduate studies.
PEO-2 : Use their mathematical and scientific knowledge to find workable solution to emerging real-world problems concerned with power system, power electronics, control systems, electrical machine analysis, signal processing and communication systems
PEO-3 :Use their creative and critical reasoning skills to find acceptable solution to technical problems, ethically and responsibly, in service to society.
PEO-4 :Use their communication, organization and teamwork skills for designing complex technological solutions.
PEO-5 :Use their communication skills to bridge the gap between advanced technology and end users in the practice of Electrical & Electronics engineering.
Programme Outcomes ( POs ):
PO-1 : Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and core engineering knowledge to the solution of complex engineering problems in Electrical & Electronics engineering.
PO-2 : Problem analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems in the field of Electrical & Electronics Engineering reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
PO-3 : Design/Development of solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems in area of Electrical & Electronics Engineering and design Electrical system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.
PO-4 : Conduct investigations of complex problems: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions in area of Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
PO-1 : Modern tool usage: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern Electrical & Electronics Engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.
PO-5 : The engineer and society: Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice in the domain of Electrical & Electronics.
PO-6 : Environment and sustainability: Understand the impact of the professional Electrical Engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
